Traveller Community and Field Reports

Conditions in China change faster than any publisher can check alone. Prices move, stations reopen, apps stop accepting foreign cards. Travellers on the ground find these things first.

How you can contribute

• Send a field report: what you expected, what you actually found, the date, and the city.
• Report an error on any page through our corrections process.
• Tell us what is missing. Gaps in coverage are the most useful thing you can report.

How we handle what you send

• Every report is checked against an official or primary source before it changes a page.
• Corrections are logged publicly in the changelog with the date.
• We credit contributors by first name and city if you allow it, and stay silent if you prefer.

Why there is no open comment wall

An unmoderated forum on a travel site fills with touts, scam listings and outdated advice, and a foreign visitor cannot tell which is which. We would rather run a slower, checked process than host a fast, unreliable one.

This is not a review channel

Field reports are about facts on the ground, not product reviews. Reviews are collected only from real paid orders, as described in our review policy. We do not publish invented traveller stories, and a field report will never be reprinted as a testimonial.
